Here is Issue No. 1 What's News at NuFerm 

 

Summer is on top of us already and so are the flies..... Here is a tip to keep those pesky little flies at bay so you can enjoy the cool breeze if it comes through. 

All you need is - A couple of ZIPLOC bags and some shiny silver coins. 

Fill the ZIPLOC bags halfway with water and add a couple of coins to the bags, seal and hang on your wall or near a window.

 

How does it work? The coins reflect through the water creating a prism which tricks the flies into thinking there is alot of action going on and they retreat very quickly. No more chemical sprays or sticky fly traps you have to clean up, just a very cheap and effective way to eat your food in piece. 

 

 

 

Who wants YUMMY ICE CREAM ...... 

Thats GLUTEN, DAIRY AND SUGAR FREE  !!!

no seriously, looking for a cool snack on a hot summers day that takes 30 second to make ......

 

All you need is; 

- A Bag of Frozen Berries - (any kind blue, red or cherries) 

- A Banana (peeled)

- 1/2 a can of Coconut Cream (or coconut milk) 

Add all the ingredients into the belender.... and  PRESTO, instant Healthy Ice Cream 

The berries make it cold and solid like ice cream, the banana gives it the texture and the coconut makes it creamy and helps it blend. You can add nuts, honey (or agave) and dress with a fruit of your choice (eg. Kiwi Fruit). It will become a favourite for young and old. 

 

WEIGHT LOSS

A Canadian trial found multivitamins and minerals could reduce appetite in women on a weight reduction regime, while lower body weight and fat mass was more obvious in men. The studdy adds supporting evidence to the neccessity of vitamin and mineral intake for good health. But as many vitamins are synthetic, the best place to find vitamins and minerals are from our food. It is also noted that when the body is well nourished there is less need to eat between meals, another weight loss advantage. 

 

Another interesting point is that Candida loves sugar (so does cancer) and I have seen sugar cravings reduce with the use of probiotics foods such as FermPlus. Good bacteria assist in balancing the levels of candida, this reduces cravings and in turn less weight is achieved just through the reduction of sugar intake. Studies show sugar to be more addictive than cocaine, so by balancing the gut the side effect is less sugar cravings.

Veggie caps were chosen as they are easily broken down inside your body with out being harmful. No nasty binding agents have been used in the process, it is still the same FermPlus formula but we have neatly packed it into a capsule.

Is your Body 'REALLY' Healthy? 

Or are you just used to how you feel?

What did she find?

She found that with the ever-increasing patents on new chemicals, the variety and volume of illness increased.  Her research showed that the increase in illness was closely related to increase in numbers of chemicals being patented.

These chemicals are now in our homes, gardens, supermarkets, cosmetics, bathrooms and in our water supply and worst of all, in the air we breath.

 

This constant bombardment of chemicals is killing our necessary good bacteria, which in turn reduces the good bacteria in our gut.

With reduced bacteria in our gut we are unable to break down our food, which in turn reduces the chance of nutrients and vitamins getting to our cells.

Your Questions Answered.

I take FermPlus and I feel great, have loads of energy and my digestion is definitely better.
However when I first started I felt tired and grumpy. Was I having a healing reaction?

A Healing Crisis or Herxheimer Reaction is a reaction that occurs when the body tries to eliminate toxins at a faster rate than they can be properly disposed of. This can happen when you start a diet, probiotics, a detox or supplement program.

The more toxic one's bodily systems are, the more severe the detoxification, or healing crisis. his can be characterized with a temporary increase in symptoms – mild or severe - while the body goes through the process of cleaning itself of impurities, toxins and imbalances. This temporary reaction can occur immediately, within several days, or even several weeks later with symptoms usually passing within a few days.

If you intend to go on a cleansing program have a medical check up first and don’t assume if you have symptoms of ill health that you are in a healing crisis: you may have a medical health problem.

Temporary signs of a healing crisis are:-

• skin eruptions
• headaches
• sleepiness
• unusual fatigue
• constipation
• diarrhoea
• or any way the body uses to loosen and eliminate toxins

Good health begins in the colon. Building a healthy population of beneficial bacteria in the intestines is helpful to clean up the system, preventing the build up of toxins which can overwork the liver. Regularly eating Fermented Foods or taking a good Probiotic Powder can be very helpful. Lastly if you are experiencing a healing crisis do not be discouraged, you can be assured your body is making positive changes towards improved health.
